Job Description

We are looking for a driven and passionate individual to lead the marketing function for Fashion and Watches Fine Jewelry in Malaysia by leveraging her/his knowledge and expertise in the marketing space to support the business vision to be the most desirable and inspiring brand, defining the ultimate luxury experience.

This role will play a vital role in shaping and establishing our marketing strategies and brand positioning for Fashion and Watches Fine Jewelry segment, given the changes in luxury landscape, rising expectations and new behaviors of our local clients, with the extension of their footprint across the globe.

This role will be reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with external and internal stakeholders, e.g. division teams, regional and global stakeholders across the business divisions to lead the marketing function with an innovative, creative, and engaging mindset.

Requirements

  • Passion, experience, and skills in consumer centric or innovative industries within the marketing function.
  • Innovative approach towards brand building and its journey to attain the House’s vision and mission.
  • Strong influencing and partnering skills with an analytical and people-oriented mindset.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and foster relationships with people, be it internal or external stakeholders.
  • Good fashion and luxury sensibility with the ability to convey the right qualitative and consistent visibility and impact of the House.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and implement business and marketing strategies which continue to build on the saliency and esteem of the Brand in Malaysia
  • Analyze global, regional, and local market insights and trends to identify and develop new business and marketing opportunities.
  • Analyze local market client insights and trends including client database and other client related data, to identify and develop relevant client strategies.
  • Demonstrate agility and adaptability in re-prioritizing marketing investments according to on-going market and business trends.
  • Partner with the Retail Leads to drive client engagement actions and a client-centric mindset and behavior
  • Define, plan, and drive innovative client marketing strategies and initiatives that make a strong impact in the hearts of our clients - recruit, retain and rejuvenate the local client database.
  • Drive and lead talent and expertise within the Marketing team by developing the technical and business partnership capabilities to meet business needs, and to continuously engage and inspire the team to perform their best.
  • Collaborate with Regional, global client strategy and local divisions to align objectives for the CHANEL brand.
  • Take ownership of the planning, forecasting, accuracy and control of the division’s Marketing & Promotions investments.
